Each Insurance Company, realising the scale and impact of the Year 2000 issues, appointed ItemPlus to carry out the strategic assessment and definition of the total Year 2000 programme of work. The programmes of work covered IT, underwriting, new business, claims, administration and reinsurance as well as the internal and external organisations making up their complex supply chains.
ItemPlus developed a unique approach focusing on a cost and resource model which, through question and answer, allows the rapid structuring and verification of the total work programme.
