Project description
Barclays Stockbrokers acquired Charles Schwab Europe (CSE). Barclays instigated a change programme to:
- Enhance the Barclays Stockbrokers’ proposition to a ‘best of both companies’ offering, including development of a new website;
- Migrate the CSE customers onto the improved Barclays platform;
- Decommission and sell the CSE infrastructure and offices.
ItemPlus provided assistance to the programme in the following areas:
- Programme managing the Operations and IT change programme, which included:
- Product design
- Client migration
- Operations and IT change
- Training
- Client Communications;
- Project managing the systems enhancements required to the Barclays Stockbrokers IT platform;
- Technical assistance with performance tuning and infrastructure design;
- Project managing the expansion of the client contact centre.
