Project description

A major Customer Facing Business had implemented a new system to support a business change programme to expand its market share and customer proposition.

The system had successfully supported an increase in business and this success had encouraged a rapid series of enhancements.

The rate of change led to concerns about the ability to:

  • Maintain and improve / speed to market
  • Reduce / maintain delivery cost
  • Maintain the robustness of the system

ItemPlus led a review to verify these abilities. The focus of the review was to develop pragmatic recommendations. The review included:

  • ‘Opportunity Identification’ based on a fact find
  • Development of new opportunity areas
  • Briefings and discussions with IS and business staff

In addition, a number of quick wins were identified and documented.
