Project description

Within R&SA, Global and Risk Managed business had a major change programme to implement systems consolidation and process change. The programme had completed a “100 days” definition stage where key high-level design issues, goals and objectives were set. This programme was assigned a high priority within the Group.

Two consultants from ItemPlus consulting engaged to:

  • Appraise, review and subsequently help select a suitable integration partner, or partners. The professional services required were consulting, project management and systems integration skills to deliver the business transformation.
  • Design a programme office with roles, responsibilities and controls; in particular create a detailed one-month plan for the next steps and a high-level three-month plan for setting up the delivery aspects of the programme.

ItemPlus designed the ITT process, which had to be completed within 40 days. ItemPlus then managed the commercial negotiations with four major “blue chip” services organisations.
