Project description

The company wished to rationalise its diverse MI systems into a single set of common IT systems and business processes, across all UK operations. In doing so, it aimed to increase business capability with regard to MI and reduce the total cost of ownership associated with the existing MI application tool set.

ItemPlus assisted the UK MI Programme Manager and the multi-disciplined multi-location team to:

  • analyse the current technology and future options,
  • review the current and future business requirements,
  • draw together the future strategy for board approval.

As an input to group-wide thinking on MI, ItemPlus carried out worldwide research into the broader area of Business Intelligence, associated new technologies and best practice components.
