Project description

A major European card issuer invited ItemPlus to review its UK application processing operation, to identify strategic options and quick wins to achieve a world class operation.

The application processing strategy also had to support ambitious customer recruitment plans, rapidly diversifying products and expanding sales / servicing channels including the internet.

ItemPlus worked with the client sponsor, Marketing, Customer Value Management, and operational areas to develop:

  • the vision for customer recruitment
  • potential options, both short and medium term
  • an assessment of options, in terms of feasibility, risk, cost / benefit and fit with other initiatives
  • the recommended way forward.
