Project description
The Business Programme Investment Office (BPIO) had been set up by the Executive to improve the management and effectiveness of the total portfolio of investment projects.
BPIO had to make a fast start and to deliver value quickly.
ItemPlus created and led a two day intensive planning workshop to define the BPIO’s role, organisation, processes, evaluation criteria and business plan for approval by the Executive.
ItemPlus then assisted the Director in a detailed review of two major multi-phase multi-project programmes which together accounted for a significant proportion of the available project resources and budget.
