Project description
The Bank’s core operational IT (accounting, transaction processing, risk) systems were being redeveloped. The Retail Bank established a project to exploit this opportunity to revitalise its customer proposition.
ItemPlus led three key stages of the project:
- Definition - developing an innovative, simple, set of business principles to guide definitions of the new proposition
- Testing - turning a set of real life customer “encounters” into marketing propositions and testing these with advertising agents, focus groups etc
- Feasibility - identifying the real impact of the strategy on the existing change portfolio, and quantifying the additional costs.
Outcome
The strategy was approved by the Senior Executive and was implemented over the next 3 years.
