Project description
Prior to the launch of its European Internet Service - Evolve Bank - the client identified the need for a system linked to its Glasgow-based call centre which would monitor fulfilment throughput and work-flow in order to assist in forecasting future business needs.
No off-the-shelf package was available.
Chaucer built a management control system, using Microsoft Excel, for all the internet bank’s clearing operations and product sales.
The system provides weekly, monthly and annual reports on output, throughput, productivity and backlogs to compare forecast and actual workloads and to help in resource planning.
Outcome
The MCS has now been handed over to the customer. Evolve Bank went on line for Spanish customers in September 2000 and was available in the UK from November 2000.
