Project description
A first phase had established a centralised collections unit for a small set of accounts and customers. Phase 2 was more complex and added a much wider set of products and customers. An approach was needed to ensure on time delivery.
The ItemPlus consultant worked with the programme, business, supplier and IT management to:
- agree project scope and priorities
- agree preferred approach to phasing the project
- agree approach to fast tracking the Bank’s standard development/implementation processes
- agree use of time boxing and “empowered” teams
- agree high level implementation plans.
Outcome
Recommendations were fully endorsed by programme management and steering groups. ItemPlus was retained to manage the next phase of the project.
